Heathrow Airport TaxiLondon Heathrow
Airport
Heathrow airport
flights can be booked with Air
France and British
Airways. We
recommend checking the airlines listed to help find the cheapest flights. Serving over 64
million passengers each year, flying to over 170 destinations in 90
countries, London Heathrow is the World's busiest international gateway. However, its size also
has meant that it has constantly expanded beyond its original boundaries,
and despite BAA investing some £1 million per day in improving facilities,
Heathrow remains one of the most disliked places in the UK. Alternatives to
Heathrow
In a recent survey,
voters rated the Heathrow Airport complex as one of the ugliest places in
Britain, although of course if you're a plane spotter it is paradise. Part
of a problem for the Heathrow is the huge traffic congestion on the M4 and
M25 motorways which feed into it, leaving many people to choose alternative
local airports where possible. Even with the Heathrow Express, it will still
take over an hour to reach many parts of London. If
your business is in the Docklands or The City, you may well find that London
City Airport
is a far more attractive option. You may also be surprised by the range of
destinations served. London
Gatwick is the
main competitor for Heathrow and its range of charter flights and budget
flights make it one of the most popular UK
airports. London
Stansted has
lived in the shadow of its main competitors Heathrow and Gatwick
but is now a force to be reckoned with. Offering flights with all the main
airlines its major drawback is that its quite difficult to get to. Please

If you would like more
details on travelling to Heathrow airport we highly recommend looking at
Google Maps. Embedded at the top of the page is a small map that indicates
the location of Heathrow Airport. The links below are to a hybrid map which
overlays standard map details like road names over a satellite image, a
standard Ordinance Survey map style and a satellite image map. Controls to
zoom in and out and move the image are on the right (enter the postcode you
will be travelling from and get a route map). Hybrid

(Aerial Photo) This need not be a
huge problem, as the Heathrow Express will speed you into the East End of
London in just 15 minutes - whipping £12 each way from your wallet in the
process. ·
